feeling crafty

I've been keeping myself busy this week with lots of fun + crafty odd jobs (in between all the bikini and shirt sewing!)

1 -3 : mint green cross-stitch Puppy Club hoop

5 : a new cover for our tea jar (I also made an apron out of this fabric)

7 + 9 : I know my old ironing board cover said FOREVER on it, but it lied. I used some wood glue + Biggie Best material to make it look pretty

8 : I bought these candle busts of Queenie and Phillip at last year's Kamersvol and still haven't had the heart to actually burn them

something for the boys

Today was so lovely and sunny, but I spent it indoors perfecting and making my first attempt (ok second attempt) at MENSWEAR.
I've had a lot of guys moaning about the lack of cool stuff for them to buy, especially at markets. I'm here to (attempt to) answer your prayers!

I was too lazy to go fabric shopping and this pretty floral-print (do you recognise it?) was the only cotton I had at home. I thought it was going to come out way too girly but it kinda works..?

It's not finished yet (buttons would be good idea I guess☺), I just wanted to share. I'm so excited to get cracking on more! Watch this space for nice-fitting & fun fabric & limited edition shirts.

tie a yellow ribbon

I usually make headbands with my fabric scraps but today I tried something new...
bows!

(I tried out the Braided Bun 'do, it looks kinda lovely, right? Click HERE for my selection of hair tutorials!)

available in a variety of pretty fabrics 〮on elastic bands or clips

I'll be selling them for R20 each / R35 for two
